Ettore Carucci jazz pianist and composer, he began to play the piano at the age of four. He got graduated in classic piano and, afterwards he started moving his first steps in 1989 with a jazz band named “Taras Jazz Forum” and also with a jazz quintet composed by experienced jazz musicians
from his area. In 1993/94 he attended a workshop in “Siena
Jazz” and “Umbria Jazz”, where he won two scholarships.
He studied jazz with Danilo Rea, Ray Santisi, and Paul
Schmelling.

In 2001 he partecipated at the workshops organized by the Umbria jazz Festival, where he won a scholarship from the Berkelee College of Music in Boston and he also had the opportunity to perform with the “ Berkee College of Music” trio.In the same year he participated at jazz festival
in Orvieto with the “Berkley Award Group” during the edition of “Umbria Jazz Winter”.
In 2005 he played at “Blue Note” in Milan with “Sonny Fortune Quartet”. In April 2007 he went to New York where he played with some of the most famous New Yorker musicians.
Currently he is working in many artistic projects playing all around Italy and abroad.
He is teacher at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome.
He recorded 11 cds as bandleader 33 as sideman and 21 compilations.
